Wing Chun & Escrima Instructor

Graham Weedon

Sifu Graham Weedon has been teaching Wing Chun and Escrima at Samurai Inti Martial Arts since January 2020, but his journey as a martial arts instructor in the Dallas area began in 1997.

His martial arts path started in high school with Tae Kwon Do, followed by Shotokan Karate during his college years. In 1995, while stationed with the U.S. Army in Fairbanks, Alaska, he was introduced to Wing Chun and Escrima—a moment that ignited his lifelong passion for these arts.

Wing Chun’s empty-hand techniques and Escrima’s weapons training complement each other, but it is their shared concepts of efficiency, adaptability, and effectiveness that make them accessible to students of all ages and skill levels.

Teaching Philosophy & Approach

Sifu Graham’s curriculum blends traditional forms and real-world applications, with a strong focus on scenario-based training that includes:
  • Multiple attacker defense
  • Ground fighting
  • Practical self-defense strategies
His goal is to ensure that students not only learn the techniques but also understand how to apply them in real-life situations with confidence and precision.

Certifications & Martial Arts Background

  • Awarded the ‘family’ title of Sifu and the ‘technical’ title of 5th Practitioner (Master) under his Sifu, Emin Boztepe
  • Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
  • Over 25 years of teaching experience in Wing Chun and Escrima
